Story #1

Hey everyone! It's Jaylon! I'm sorry about what happened a couple of weeks ago with my post. For some reason, it was not showing up on my blog so I'm going to retype the story again. This story, like I said before, is here to either entertain you or to teach a lesson. Whatever works for you! Ok, here's the story!
It all started in the city of Wesbrook. Our story begins with an African- American boy named Iesop. Iesop was a straight-A student who lived in the middle-class neighborhood of Freednick Ave with his 2 parents. His mom was a seamstress that worked days and his father was a mechanic that worked days and nights. They may not have been rich in wealth, but they were rich in the love that they had for one another. Then Iesop came across a problem. He ran into the local gang that chased Iesop all the way home. They chased him, threw things like bricks and glass bottles at him which he would dodge to prevent getting hit in the head with a brick like on one occasion. He ran to his house when his mom saw him bleeding on his foot. His mom ran up to him, worriedly and said:

"Iesop! My baby! Who did this to you?"

Iesop said:

"Those thugs outside, Mama! They threw rocks, bottles, sticks, stones, whatever they had and chased me all the way home!"

"...those thugs! TRASH, ALL OF 'EM! Makes me sick just lookin' at em! Saggin', smokin' weed, cussin', robbin', stealin' from innocent, HARDWORKIN' PEOPLE! Don't worry, baby! Tomorrow, I'm gonna get you on the city bus so that you don't have to worry 'bout bein' chased by those hoods!"

Iesop, with a look of relief, said:

"Thank you, mama!"

Mama said:

"I love you, Iesop and I don't want anything to happen to you. You're my only child and I don't want to lose you! I love you!"

Iesop said:

"Thanks, Mama. I love you too!"

Tuesday
8:30 A.M.

Iesop and his mother walked outside to the bus stop and waited for the bus to get here. After waiting for 5 minutes by the bus stop, Iesop said:

"Maybe the bus isn't coming, Mama."

Mama said:

"Don't you worry, baby! It's comin'! Just be patient!"

Just then, a silver and blue Greyhound bus drove around the corner of the street and parked by the bus stop where Iesop and his mother was standing. Mama said to Iesop:

"Now, you wait right here, baby! I'm gonna go talk to the bus driver!"

As Mama stepped towards the bus, the doors to the bus opened releasing a thick mist of fresh air in Mama's face. Mama got on the bus and said to the driver:

"Excuse me, ma'am. My son needs to ride the bus to school."

The bus driver looked at Mama sternly and said:

"Your kind is not welcome on this bus!"

Mama looked at the bus driver and said, patiently:

"Please, ma'am. I just need you to drive him to and from sch---"

The bus driver interrupted Mama and said:

"He's not allowed on the bus! What part of that don't you understand? He's better off dead! GO BACK TO THE JUNGLE WHERE YOU BELONG!"

Mama, out of anger and sheer rage, punched the bus driver in the face and yelled:

"Now look! ALL I WANT YOU TO DO IS TO TAKE MY SON TO AND FROM SCHOOL AND FOR YOU TO NEVER, IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU SO PITIFULLY LIVE, DISRESPECT MY CHILD IN FRONT OF ME EVER! NOW, LET HIM GET ON THIS BUS AND YOU DRIVE HIM TO SCHOOL OR I SWEAR 'FORE ALMIGHTY GOD, I WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE DO IT IN THE JUNGLE! YOU HEAR ME?"

The bus driver, filled with paranoid, nodded her head cooperatively. Mama got off the bus, kissed Iesop on his forehead and Iesop got on the bus. He found a empty seat in the middle of the bus and sat down. He looked out the window and saw his mother waving at him from outside. He smiled and waved back at her. The bus began to move and headed down the street. The bus driver drove 2 blocks down Freednick Ave into 45th Street where two white men were waiting. The doors to the bus opened and they walked on. One of the men sat at the front of the bus while the other one looked at Iesop and said:

"Get up!"

Iesop, scared out of his mind said:

"Wha-Wh-Wh-Wha-Wha-What?"

The man said, again:

"I said "GET UP!"

Iesop said:

"N-N-o-o-o-NO!"

The man said, once again with a sense of animosity:

"Get up now!"

Then a voice from the back of the bus said:

"HEY!"

Everyone except the driver looked back and saw a black man get up from his seat and walk towards the man. The black man said to the white man:

"That's enough, Todd. Now, leave him alone!"

Todd said:

"Or what, Cliff?"

Cliff extended his fist back and said:

"THIS!"

He punched Todd right in his chest and Todd struck Cliff right in his nose, bruising it. Then a fight broke out between the two! Then a white man from the front got up from his seat to help Todd fight  Cliff and a black man from the back got up from his seat to help Cliff fight Todd. And it wasn't until the whole bus was fighting each other. The black men were fighting the white men and the white men were fighting the black men. Iesop got on the floor and watched everything happen right in front of him, trying not to become involved. Everything turned into utter mayhem in a matter of minutes and out of the blue, Todd brought out a Molotov, used his lighter to set the rag inside the bottle on fire and threw it on the ground, setting the bus on fire. Everyone was now screaming shrieks of agony and pain. People on the bus were either on fire, bleeding out, crawling on the floor trying to reach the door, dead from 2nd or 3rd degree burns to major arteries, etc. Iesop was unaffected by the blast yet scrambled to his feet at the horror that he witnessed on the bus. He looked around and saw Todd on the floor with burns and major wounds on his legs, hands, face and body. He yelled out:

"DIE! DIE! ALL OF YOU COONS! YOU CAN ALL BURN IN HELL! HA HA HA HA!" Then he started coughing, gasped for air and died in his own blood.

Then Iesop looked back and saw Cliff on the ground also, badly damaged and in severe condition. Iesop went over to Cliff and said:

"NO! Don't die on me, man! Stay with me! Stay with me!"

Cliff said, weakened by the flames that bar-be-cued his lungs:

"No." *coughs* "You...child of God...must live for me. Goodbye...*coughs*...gentle creature. See you on the other...*coughs*...s...ide."

He took his last breath of air and closed his eyes ever so peacefully and was no more. Iesop cried as he stood over the body of his deceased friend. Iesop made his way to the emergency door which was partially destroyed in the blast. He pushed the door aside and got off of the singed bus that was now burned metal and roasted leather. He walked down the street and continued his journey to school. As he was walking down the street, a black mastiff spotted him and walked towards him with a vicious look in his eyes and foam covering the surface of his mouth. He growled at Iesop and barked wildly. Iesop, terrified and defenseless, did the only thing that he could think of---he ran. He ran as fast as he could through the neighborhood with the dog chasing behind him. Iesop started throwing down trash cans to slow the dog down, but it didn't work. Iesop hopped over fence after fence after fence, but the dog burst through the fences like it was water. Iesop continued to run for his life, feeling winded and out of breath when suddenly, the dog got his foot stuck in a hole that was dug in the street. Iesop looked at the dog struggling and whimpering to get out of the hole, but it was no use. It was stuck in the hole and all Iesop did was give off a sigh of relief and took a breath of fresh air. He walked to school with the bit of energy he had left in his body, hoping that there were no more dangerous surprises waiting for him.

As he walked towards his school, he saw that the entire student body was fighting against the police. Iesop went over to a student that was serving as a witness and asked:

"What's goin' on, man?"

The boy said:

"The police killed Robert!"

Then he pointed to his body that was laying on the sidewalk. His white suit and tie was coated in his own red blood and he was swimming in his own blood. Iesop watched with severe anxiety in his eyes the horrible violence that spewed out. Iesop's classmates were getting beaten by the cops, sprayed with hoses, bitten by their guard dogs, choked or they were watching like Iesop was. At that moment, Iesop had enough energy in his body to do one more thing. He spotted a megaphone by one of the squad cars, went over, picked it up, jumped on top of the squad car and said through the microphone:

"EVERYBODY STOP!"

Everyone stopped fighting and looked directly at Iesop. Iesop said through the megaphone:

"What are we doing? Why are we fighting each other? Why can't we love each other? Why can't you all understand that fighting isn't going to bring Robert back? It just creates a cycle of hatred that will last forever! There are some things worth fighting for and this is not it! We don't need to fight; we need to forgive!"

One of the boys stood up and said:

"NO! I refuse to forgive them! NOT AFTER WHAT THEY DID TO ROBERT! HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND THEY KILLED HIM FOR NO REASON! HE DIDN'T NEED TO DIE, BUT THESE HEARTLESS BASTARDS KILLED HIM! THEY THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A BADGE AND A GUN THAT THEY CAN KILL ANYONE THEY WANT! WELL, I HAD ENOUGH! WHO'S WITH ME?

Every black person on that street yelled:

"YEAH!"

Iesop said through the microphone:

"My brothers! I understand that you are upset at the loss of Robert, but he wouldn't have wanted you to fight against the police just to avenge his death!"

Then another boy yelled:

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ROBERT WANTED! YOU'RE NOT ROBERT! HE WOULD'VE WANTED US TO GET THE POLICE LIKE THEY GOT HIM!"

Everyone cheered:

"YEAH!"

Iesop said through the microphone:

"No, you're wrong! He would've wanted us to live our lives! Also, to have him in our hearts and in our minds. We need to prevent this time of thing from happening to future generations of African-American males and females! Say it with me! IN-CREASE THE PEACE! IN-CREASE THE PEACE! IN-CREASE THE PEACE!"

One black male stood up and said:

"In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace!"

Then two more black kids and a police officer said:

"In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace!"

Then it wasn't until everyone on the street, whether they were in the fight or not, started chanting:

"In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace! In-crease the peace!"

*Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the story! And now, I have a little message to share with everyone!*
