Books

Book (n)-a written work or composition that has been published

The one record of our history. The one vital importance on how we collect information. The entrance into another person's life, perspectives on life and their imagination. They teach us. They move us. They give us a refined, concrete example of how reality has personified our ability to tell a story whether fictitious or not. Books have been around in our lives since the beginning of time and have been written to preserve our history and to give future generations a glimpse on how life was in a previous generations. Readers can tell how or what a certain time period was like based on the writing, the events that happened in the story, the characters, their attire, vernacular, etc. One book, in particular, taught me a lot about life and about self-confidence, being yourself and also realizing what's more important in the long run. That book was Hill Harper's Letters To A Young Brother.
In Hill Harper's Letters To A Young Brother, Hill sends letters to a "young brother" describing various situations in the young man's life, goes in depth about life lessons that teenage youth would find beneficial to their lives and uses real-life advice and quotes from celebrities and close friends and family to address his position on a certain topic. My favorite topic that was discussed was Hill using the phrase "Money, Power and Respect" to his advantage, but instead of supporting that phrase; he switched the phrase around to "Power, Respect and Money" to explain to his audience how knowledge is power and should not be taken lightly when trying to pursue the career of your dreams.

Also, another discussed topic was the topic about girls and their desire for a "man". He related the story of how girls want a real man to girls wanting a real product at a shopping mall and not a cheap knock-off. That opened me up and encouraged me to continue the fight on being myself regardless of what others thought or said negatively on my behalf. Because it's never about what others believe or think! It's about what you believe and think! What do you think about yourself? What do you believe? I believe...that women are the greatest creatures ever created! I think about women every day of my life! I adore them! I love them! I also believe in being a free-spirit! I think about all the time in the past that was wasted caring about what others believed and not hearing the little voice that came from inside of me! That's why I devote every day of my life to make a difference in people's lives and more importantly, mine! It's people like Hill Harper that gives life a whole new beginning for people like me and for people who believed that life was over for them for whatever reason. Books give people the chance to escape from the reality that they currently take part of and enter the author's. Books give people a message. A powerful message no matter what it is. But no matter what, the most important message from any book should be...welcome to my world!

Bullying

It never should've started. It needs to stop. It has claimed millions of lives everyday. It needs to end. And to the people that read my book, you would know exactly why!(And if you didn't, you should! Just scroll down to the bottom of my blog and click the picture of my book. ...And you can do the rest!) Bullying has an effect on everyone!  It has people do things to themselves that they will later regret in life! No one is made of stone! Bullying hurts people. It's never okay to be a bully to anyone. It makes you shallow, pathetic and less of a person knowing that you need to destroy another person's confidence in his/her self in order to assert dominance over that person. But what I want to do for my readers in this post is something special. I'm going to tell a story. Not about me. I've already done that. (Scroll to the bottom of the screen, click pic,...). I'm going to tell a story about a friend that I knew that was a very special friend of mine. She (Yes, this is about a girl) was a wonderful girl that never did anything wrong to anyone. She was my best friend and I will always remember her for her beauty, her style and her love for people. Her name is Mandy.

Now Mandy was the new girl at Bundy High. She didn't know anyone so she was always eager to meet new people. She was walking down the hall and saw a group of girls talking about boys, Justin Bieber/1D, cheerleading, whatever. She goes up to the girls and says:

"Hi, my name is Mandy! What's yours?"

One of the girls came up to Mandy and said:

"Does it look like I give a f*** what your name is, b****?"

The girl walked away with her friends leaving poor Mary in the middle of the hallway, speechless and crying. Now I was walking down the hall listening to my music as always when I saw her. She looked so broken. Sitting on the middle of the floor in her own tears sobbing. I turned my MP3 player off, went over to her and said:

"Hey, what's the matter?"

She said, while crying;

"Th-this g-g-girl called me a b-b-b****! *crying*"

I held her close and said:

"It's okay. It's going to be alright. Haitin's (hatin') always been like that! But what she said to you shouldn't crush you! You are a wonderful girl and you're here for a reason!"

She looked at me and a smile came across her face with her makeup smeared across her eyes. She said with the sound of sadness still in her voice:

*sniffs*"I am?"

I said:

"Of course you are. You're beautiful. Now, dry those tears!"

She went into her purse, got a tissue and cleaned her face up. She looked at me as happy as she was when she walked in and said:

"Thank you. What's your name?"

I said:

"Jaylon."

She said:

"You have a nice name, Jaylon."

I said:

"Thank you."

We both walked the halls in opposite directions and went to our individual classes. The next day, Mandy met a guy named Mark. He was the quarterback of the boys' football team and the most popular kid in school. (Just like in every story, right?) Anyway, Mandy went up to Mark and said:

"Hi!"

Mark said:

"Hey, you're cute!"

Mandy laughed and said:

"Thanks! What's your name?"

Mark said:

"My name is Mark! How 'bout you?"

Mandy said:

"Mandy!"

Mark said:

"Listen, I'm having a football game this Friday. You should come!"

Mandy, so full of joy and energy, said:

"I'll be there!"

After that conversation, both Mark and Mandy walked away and she sent me a text!

*phone vibrates* *I look at my phone*

Mark just invited me to a football game! EEEEE!

*text back saying* "Have fun, but watch out for Haitin! She's on the cheerleading squad!"

*Mandy texts back saying* "I'm not afraid of Haitin. What's the worst that could happen? Plus Mark is playing! Friday is going to be the best day ever!"

FRIDAY

Mark and Mandy are driving to the football game in Mark's Jeep. Mark asks Mandy:

"How do you feel knowing that you're about to see a real star in action?"

Mandy said:

"AWESOME! WHOO! Give me a M-A-R...K-I-E! Go Markie! Yay!"

Mark laughed. He said:

"I see you're fired up!"

Mandy giggled and said:

"Well, of course! You're only the best football player there is!"

Mark said:

"I am?"

Mandy said:

"Yeah. Not to mention the cutest!"

Mark said:

"You're not too bad yourself! In fact..."

He parks the car in the school parking lot right next to the football field and they both made out. As they were making out, Haitin was at the field working on cheers for her squad. They were working on the pyramid routine and as the other cheerleaders were lifting Haitin at the top of the pyramid, she saw the whole thing! That's when she thought of a plan! She got all of the cheerleaders to make a cheer that was negatively directed at Mandy! She rounded all of the girls up in a straight line and said:

"Okay, girls! A little change in plans! We're going to do a whole new cheer!"

All of the girls exchanged confused looks and said:

"A whole new cheer?"

"What sense does that make?"

"Are you serious?"

Haitin said:

"Just follow my lead!"

The game started an hour later and Mandy was sitting in the front row watching the game start. Mandy thought about what that intimate moment in Mark's Jeep meant for her. She thought:

"OMG! That kiss was amazing! He's totally in love with me! OMG! I can tell that we're going to be in love forever and ever!"

Then, right when the game was about to start, Haitin got a megaphone and said:

"Wait! Everyone! My squad and I would like to do a little cheer that's dedicated to someone in the bleachers! Ready, girls?"

All of the girls replied with a:

"YEP!"

Haitin said:

"Ready! OK! S-L-*-*! What does that spell? MANDY! You stupid piece of trailer trash! You can't take our quarterback! Come on, everybody!"

Then, everyone stood up and said the cheer and looked right at Mandy as they said it!

"S-L-*-*! What does that spell? MANDY!"

Mandy started to cry, got up from the bleachers and ran away from the football field. She ran down the street as fast as she could, crying tears of pain! She got out her cell phone, sent me a text.

"Jaylen, I love you! I'll always love you and I'll always remember you! The pain is too much for me! I just can't go on any longer! XOXO FOREVER!"

*phone vibrates* *I see the message* *heart drops* I texted back saying:

"Mandy, what happened? Tell me! Please!"

*sits down on edge of bed* *cries* *turns on TV*

"And in local news, police are investigating the gruesome death of 16-year old Mandy Calbright. Witnesses say she jumped in front of a car that collided into a tree, thereby killing her and the driver. Police has declared this death a suicide and all that was left at the scene was a cell phone with the victim's last text making it known that she was going to commit suicide. But what we don't know was the victim's motive on what possessed her to take her own life. More details at 11."

*shuts TV off* *cries*

And that was the end of Mandy Calbright. My one true friend that I will forever hold close to me forever.

Ledger Enquirer

On May 30, 2013, I was about to finish my second to last day on high school for my junior year at Bundy High and I just wanted to be finished so summer vacation could start. Originally, I didn't want to come to school that day because I wasn't really feeling like going to school on the 2 last days of school, but I was told that I was going to be interviewed for the Ledger Enquirer about my book "Autism: In My Own Words". (http://www.amazon.com/Autism-In-My-Own-Words/dp/1481709208)

So I went because I would be a fool to waste the opportunity of having two eager reporters wanting, out of their own free will, to know the truth about why I chose to write the book, the type of impact that I wanted it to have and the people that I wanted to inspire while they read it.

Well, as I was waiting, my school was adding a new "tradition" to the school where they would put the students in "houses". They made 4 houses and every student had to draw a color card from a box. The color of the card you pulled represented the house that you would be put into. Sounded a little interesting, but wasn't really feeling it. Then, one of the staff members of Bundy High, Mr. Franklin, wanted me to come into the office because the reporter from the Ledger Enquirer finally arrived. He had to be the most kindest, blue-eyed saints that I met that day! He was telling me how it would be happy if I had a copy of my own book with me to be used in the interview (which I didn't have, but I remember my principal, Mrs. Farris, had a copy so I used her copy). We went to the library and we started talking about my book, my family, what made me want to write the book, how doctors and other people rejected the mess out of me, etc. Then, his photographer took pictures for the article and we made the story.

http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/2013/06/23/2549422/early-college-academy-of-columbus.html

It was Sunday morning on June 23, 2013 which was two days before the 4th anniversary of Michael Jackson's death that the story was published! Everyone in Columbus, GA that had a subscription to the Ledger Enquirer saw my story! :) Now everyone in the city of Columbus knew my story because people who saw the story told people who told people and so on and so forth! This is exactly what happens when you don't quit and you don't stop trying so hard to make a difference in your life! Doesn't matter how different you are; you can still be successful!

Video Games

Since I was 3 or 4 years old, I was always a huge fan of video games! I loved video games with a passion! They give me a chance to step into a virtual world and take part in all of the fun the game has to offer! And there's different types of games from different types of genres so you don't have to get bored playing the same old games. I remember what my first system was. A Nintendo 64. I played all types of games on it. Mario Kart. Super Mario Smash Bros. Brawl Melee. NBA Jam. Super-Man. It didn't matter! Then, there was the Dreamcast! I loved the Dreamcast! I used to play Devil May Cry 2 all day long! I also remembered that it was originally my dad's system, but he knew that I loved video games so much that he let me have it! I was also playing a game called Ready 2 Rumble Boxing on the Dreamcast and my favorite character on that game was Afro Thunder! I also remember playing that amazing Sonic the Hedgehog game which I never beat, but I do remember playing it every single day! Then the PS1 came out and I had a lot of games for that system! I had Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2, Spider-Man, this fighting game that I got mad at because I couldn't beat a certain fighter so I broke the disc, Crash Bandicoot, whatever was around! I love my game systems and then there was the next gen...
My GameCube! Man, was I in love with my GameCube! When the GameCube first came out, I had it! I remember playing the demo disc that came with the game for hours! I liked to play the demo version of the video game Viewtiful Joe! I mean, the one thing that I hate about video games are the demos! I can't stand demos! You could start the game, play it and then the whole game's over in under 30 seconds! But this type of demo was worth it! It wasn't until my dad bought the actual game that I was ecstatic about playing the game because I had the full game! I could finally play the entire story mode and the game won't cut off unless I turn off the system! When I think about Viewtiful Joe, I think of all the memories that came with the experience of playing that game from sunup to sundown! But that's not all! I had Spider-Man 2 (loved it), Tony Hawk's Underground 1 & 2 (both epic), Harry Potter (amazing) and so much more! I remember I had 16 games for that one system!
Then I got the XBOX which was, once again, my dad's system that he let me have because I wanted to play on it so badly! As for the games, I had Burnout Revenge (my all-time favorite), Black (the most hardcore FPS of its time), Jet Set Radio Future (the most flyest and tricked out game ever created), Blinx (it was alright), Crimson Skies (the most epic aerial game in existence), etc. I just loved the XBOX at the time.
Then, there was the Wii! I literally exploded with energy when I got my first Wii! My very first games were Pokémon: Battle Revolution (why'd I give that game away?), Mario Party 8 (freakin' love that game!), and something else! I can't fathom what it was, but it was amazing that my parents got me one when I wanted one so badly! I still have it even though it just sits on my cabinet collecting dust and remains unplugged! Man, do I remember the times I had with my Wii! I used to bring my Wii games over to my friend's house and we would play and eat French toast at the same time! It was wonderful! Plus, since I was connected to the Internet, I added all of these channels to my Wii console which increased more awesomeness from my system! But that was the past unfortunately and this is now! And now, the old game console that I'm currently playing on is my PS3 in which I worked so hard cutting grass around my neighborhood to raise money for me to purchase one! And when I finally got it, man was I happy! I was ready to plug it in, play Call of Duty: Black Ops and enjoy all of the features that the PS3 had! I love to play on-line and I'm always up for a challenge!

PSN ID: THE-BLACK-KING95
To all of the gamers out there, thank you for taking time out of beating the newest game that you recently purchased while consuming large quantities of potato chips and soda to read about my gaming history! Don't forget to share, comment, tell your friends, e-mail, like or share on Google+! LONG LIVE VIDYA GAMES!

Back To The Future

One of my most favorite sci-fi movies ever created has always been Back to the Future! I love that movie with a passion! In fact, I love all 3 of the movies with a passion! It is one of the only sci-fi movies that I can watch continuously and not get bored at all! I mean, everything about that movie was amazing! The special effects, the story, the plot twists, the general aspect on how we perceive time travel because normally when we think of time travel, we think of stepping through a portal or getting inside a chamber with the time coordinates already set on the chamber, but the creators of Back To The Future wanted to go beyond that and use a car! The Delorean time machine! After that, I was hooked!
The thing that I enjoyed most from watching back To The Future was seeing one of my favorite actors, Michael J. Fox. Michael J. Fox had to be one of the hardest working actors of the 80s because on top of doing Back To The Future, he was also acting on the hit sitcom Family Ties as Alex P. Keaton. If it wasn't for Michael J. Fox, then, in my opinion, I don't believe Back To The Future would've been as successful as it was and still is. I mean, Michael J. Fox represented what an average teenager was back then. A cool rebel who likes to hang out with friends, become popular in school and chase girls! Steven Spielberg and the rest of the creative minds behind Back To The Future made a pretty righteous decision in casting Michael J. Fox as the lead role because it just made us all feel a sense of excitement into the film and we all got to see Michael J. Fox for who he is as an actor! Which is a smart, funny, energetic, charismatic, courageous, strong-minded individual that always wanted to do more with acting and pleasing the public.
Back To The Future will always be one of my favorites mainly because I'm a fan of the 20th century! The movie really stepped out of the box when it came to wanting to try something new with its audience and always had something imaginative to add to the movie's genuine craft! I mean, no one can take that away! Nobody can reproduce, recreate, reboot, or re-make a classic like Back To The Future because most people won't accept it without the original cast! (In my opinion)! I love Marty McFly. I love Doctor Emmett Brown, Einstein, Biff Tannen, Lorraine and George McFly, watching Marty time travel into the past, future and alternate present just to get business done! I love the hoverboard! (I wanted to know if those were real, actually)! I love Huey Lewis and the News playing "Power of Love", Marty McFly playing Johnny B. Goode on stage, Marty always standing up for himself every time someone calls him a chicken, (Even though his character was going at it the wrong way)! I love every element of that movie because it made movies come alive! Michael J. Fox, (In my opinion), is a legend, will always be a legend and long live BACK TO THE FUTURE!

Michael Jackson

The King of Pop. The greatest entertainer of all time. One of my influences. One of the people in this world that I wish to have resurrected! He's one of my favorite singers and his music touched millions of people no matter what type of genre of music you normally listen to. He made it possible for future artists to have a career in the entertainment industry and he believed in seeing a change for our world. He always did the things that no one would expect anyone to do! He opened up an amusement park/home in which he lived in. His home was also home to giraffes, elephants, lions, his pet monkey Bubbles, goats, etc. He owns property on the moon. He has the number 1 best-selling album of all time, Thriller and...he was my role model in this world. I knew exactly where I was when he passed on June 25, 2009. I was in my bed watching television when I got a phone call from my friend Isaac telling me he passed away. At first, I laughed because I didn't want to believe in what I was hearing, but then he said "Turn to the news." So I did and there it was. Headlines were made saying "Michael Jackson is currently in a coma" "Michael Jackson has suffered cardiac arrest" "Michael Jackson has died on June 25, 2009. He was 50 years old. He gave us 40 years of music. Music that will forever live on in our hearts and in our minds."
I got on the edge of my bed and I cried and prayed at the same time! You got to understand when Michael Jackson died, I thought I lost a relative! A relative that taught me how to dance just like him, move just like him and moonwalk just like him! But in my opinion, it wasn't drugs that killed Michael Jackson. It was the media's never-ending slanderous assault that killed Michael Jackson! Years and years of the media creating false stories about him, trying so hard to destroy he man's righteous integrity. I mean, he never asked for any of this to happen to him; it just happened because the media wanted to make him out to be a bad person which he never was.
Back then, when Michael would want to go play outside on the playground with other kids or interact with other kids, he couldn't because he was always in the studio or at a concert performance or a tour or a TV special. It was always something! So, when he was an adult and finally got to be independent, he want to live the childhood that he never had by being a kid at heart. But then, the media got ahold of something like this and had a field day over it. "Michael Jackson, singer or pedophile?" "Michael Jackson has invited teenage boys into his Neverland ranch for a slumber party." It finally got to the point where Michael Jackson was sued by one of the boys' fathers. He then took advantage of Michael Jackson and his wealth.
Since then, he was getting sued on a daily basis for child molestation charges. Then, the police searched the Neverland ranch and found nothing. They stripped the man down and photographed every last body part on his body and if he failed to comply with the proceedings, he would be sent to jail. He was a victim of police brutality numerous times, he had to take drugs just to perform normal operations like sleeping. The FBI also made a hotline to request that any kid with any information of being molested by Michael Jackson to please call the hotline. (But my thing is, how come the government is willing to take this much action on a man who was wrongfully accused of any of the molestation charges being made against him, but they will never do that with an actual criminal who does this type of thing every single day). Michael was innocent from day 1, but because of the media's wrongful portrayal of Michael's character, they brainwashed the public into believing whatever garbage was being said about him! And if you don't believe me, answer me this!

1)  If Michael Jackson was guilty of the crime, how come police found NO evidence of any kind?
2) If Evan Chandler was so positive that Michael Jackson was guilty, why did he tell on himself on a private phone conversation?  https://www.youtube.com/watchfeature=player_detailpage&v=wGj8CC7Z2yc
3) If Evan Chandler was 100% positive about MJ being guilty, why did he, a couple of months after MJ died, kill himself? WHAT INNOCENT MAN KILLS HIMSELF?
http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/evan-chandler-dad-boy-accused-michael-jackson-molestation-commits-suicide-new-jersey-article-1.417751
4) Why is it that MJ died, Jordan Chandler, Evan Chandler's son who his father claimed got molested by Michael, told the truth that his father made him lie to get Jackson's money and escape poverty?

THIS IS HOW MUCH OF A FAN I AM OF MICHAEL JACKSON! I WAS A FAN OF MICHAEL JACKSON BEFORE ALL OF THE FAKE FANS DECIDED TO JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON BECAUSE THAT WAS THE TREND! YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN? People won't tell you the real deal about people, only their fixed idea on what they believe was really true! I was there listening to Beat It repeatedly because that was my song that I got hooked on in 6th grade! Yeah... that long! AND I'M STILL A FAN OF MICHAEL JACKSON! I STILL LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC! I STILL LISTEN TO MJTUNES.COM! I STILL DO THE DANCES, MOONWALK AND LOVE WHAT TYPE OF PERSON HE WAS BECAUSE THAT'S SOMEONE WHO GOD WANTS IN HEAVEN! And that's what we need to be. True followers of God and people who need to be true to who they really are and keep moving forward when dealt with adversity! Michael Jackson is the boss, will always be the boss and will continue to be the greatest entertainer in the world because that's who I'm inspired by.

Hip-Hop and Rap

It goes like this. A lot of people who know me know that I only listen to old school rap and only old-school rap! Also, they know that I like to get down when I'm listening to my music on my MP3 player! The reason being is because back then, when rappers rhymed on the microphone, they rhymed! They made sense when they spoke and made the message clear. You could hear the lyrics being spoken. It was a new topic being addressed and it was made people understand what true talent was. Back then, rappers had skill and talent which was necessary when you rocked the mic or you were nobody. Plus, rappers back then actually knew how to be themselves and wasn't asking others to be other people. They just wanted their audience to accept them into their homes, your boom box or your cassette player. Also, everyone back then knew how to put on a show. They knew that performance was the key aspect whether you were live, in the recording studio or on the streets free-styling or battling someone. Old school music also let people enter into the artist's world and take part in the merriment or sorrow of what the artist's perspective of life was all about. There were rappers that told stories, addressed a situation in real life and how it affected them and expressed their overall personality through their lyrics. I mean, OLD SCHOOL RAP had substance. OLD SCHOOL RAP made you think. OLD SCHOOL RAP made you see what lyrical talent was. OLD SCHOOL RAP made the most difference in rap and hip-hop music. OLD SCHOOL RAP IS REAL RAP! I can't say that for the new school crap because that's just what it is! (In my opinion)!
New school rap...(sighs)... I can't even...How did...Who is this...Where did it all...When I look at new school rap today, all I do is ask myself "WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED?" "WHERE DID IT ALL GO?" "WHERE DID ALL THESE WHACKERS COME FROM?" (Get it? I changed "rappers" with the word "whack")! (Because that's what they all are)! (Well, not everyone! Just people who aren't saying anything , but the same recycled b.s. of money, cars, women, jewelry, sex, etc.). TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I refuse to get hooked to the new school bull crap that's being played on the radio and getting massive airplay based on the mindless consumers who have absolutely no choice, but to accept this "rap" as rap music! I just refuse to accept this new school crap as rap! They destroyed what was supposed to be a proud and powerful culture all because of their love for the dough, yo! -_-

OLD SCHOOL RAP> NEW SCHOOL CRAP

Girls

Noun
Origin: Middle English
Dictionary definition- a young lady or madam
My definition- one of the most wondrous creatures in the history of mankind

Girls are the most precious jewels that have ever been created by the Almighty! They're beautiful, kind, gentle and very extravagant. They make men happy, excited, loved and the richest group of people in the world. They bring our children to the world, teach us whatever we need to know about life from a lucid point of view and make men understand the true essence of life's miracles. We love everything about them! From the sound of their voice, to the way their hair blows in the wind, to the way their physique is always very ravishing! They are faithful when they're with the one they want, the most dominant in a relationship and the most needed group of people because without them, we couldn't start a family, we would lose a shred of sanity and we wouldn't truly understand the overall meaning of beauty! (In my own opinion)!

Then there are girls that are pretty much the exact opposite. There are some girls that are brought up by the wrong way of thinking. That changing a woman's appearance or major part of their body is a way to a man's heart. Or the fact that a woman may have a relationship with a man that treats her like trash yet she still takes him because she believes that will be the last man that she may ever have. Or the woman who's in it for the amount of money that a man may have in his pockets or savings account. Or the woman who doesn't know what she wants and goes for anyone no matter the circumstance. Or the woman who does nothing but reject because she wants to shield her emotions in order to prevent from being hurt. Or the woman (my favorite) who ignores the Prince Charming-like man who only wants to treat her like the queen that she is and goes with a man who only wants her for either sexual favors or will leave her for someone else shortly after leaving her with absolutely no one. Or the woman who (And I don't get this one at all!) is secretly in love with the man, but acts negatively towards the boy, thereby pushing him away and destroying her chance of starting a relationship.

But the thing about me is, I'm the type of person that will never judge a woman for what she may have done in the past. I would never leave a woman that I am with. I would never stand a woman up. I would never lead a woman on. I would never hurt a woman. I would never deliberately stab a woman in the back if I was ever betrayed by one. I would never tell a woman that she isn't beautiful, wonderful, gorgeous, enchanting, stunning or real because that's the type of MAN I AM! I love women with all of my heart! I will never stop loving women! I will always have feelings for women! I will always make a woman feel like she's a queen because first of all, it's a shame that in my generation, you have to disrespect a woman in order to start a relationship with her! What kind of sense does that make? It doesn't make you anymore of a man to call a woman a b****, s****, h**, cow, tramp, s****, home wrecker, pig, heifer, hussy, etc. so WHY DO IT? People shouldn't call women any type of derogatory slur because that woman could be someone's mother or one day will be someone's mother and when you say whatever to whatever woman you say it to,the child may not remember, but the woman will. Keep that in mind before you disrespect one of the amazing human beings in the world!
Girls...can't live with 'em...can't live without 'em!

Drawing

Honestly, it started with my cousin, Tre, who just so happens to be the cover artist for my debut novel Autism: In My Own Words. In the beginning, I don't believe that I was the type of person that could draw. Color, yes. Drawing, no. But it was him that made me draw in the first place. He drew a picture of Tarzan that pretty good for a 5 year old. That's right! 5 years old! On that one little drawing, he was getting all of the attention! I mean, it was on my grandma's refrigerator door for God's sake! That to me felt like the highest place of honor! I remember when it was Memorial Day and I wanted it to be my time to shine! So I drew a picture of a dinosaur. A crudely drawn dinosaur, but hey, come on, I was 4! But I just wouldn't let that stop me from drawing like a pro! One time, I remember that I drew the cover of my WWE WrestleMania XIX GameCube game and it looked exactly like the original version! And the entire drawing was freehand; not traced. Back then, I was drawing just to show everyone that I was just as good as Tre, but every time I would visit his house in Mississippi, he would always have something to top it! He had an entire folder of every single last Marvel or DC character ever created! Or he would have drawn all of the Boondocks characters! Or self-portraits of people in his family! Or pictures of Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Iron-Man, Mega-Man, Pac-Man, Bat-Man, Wolverine, Super-Man, Spider-Man, Venom, Carnage, The Whole GotDang Justice League! It didn't matter! I mean, he was just drawing everything that he was interested in and it didn't matter who it was or what it was! I mean, he's so good that every time he draws, Picasso would cry in his grave! But now, I draw just to draw and because I have a strong passion for creating beautiful things! I'm currently drawings realistic portraits of people that I consider very precious to my heart and very valuable confidants. For example, this is a picture of one of my favorite rappers, Special Ed. I drew this a while back and decided to darken it! Take a look!

Just goes to show that if you're really passionate about doing something, with all means, pursue it to the best of your ability! Nothing is stopping you from doing your best or being your best...but you!

How It All Started...

It was 1:17 a.m. My brother, sister and mother were all dressed up and ready to go pick up my friend Genario from the city bus shuttle. Just as we were about to leave the house, my mother said to me: "Jaylon, you should write a book!" I said: "About what?" She said: "A book about your life. You could write about how you didn't know you was autistic, how it affected you when you tried to make friends, the stuff that you went through not knowing you was autistic. I mean, you should really  think about it because I know you're a good writer!" As we walked out the door, I continued to ponder the thought of me writing a book. What it could mean, how it would feel, the people who would come to me requesting autographs from me, the wild fantasies of girls chasing me throughout different parts of the city. I mean, it was a lot to think about!

Then one day, I sat on my bed with my Inspiron Mini laptop and start writing. When I was writing the story, I never looked at a journal or a diary. I just felt the whole story was all in me. I mean, no one knows your story better than you, right? I put everything on the table! I always felt like when people read this book, then they'll truly see what I went through and how I came out on top! I wanted to put everyone and everything that made a difference in my life because this was the book that I believed would change the way people saw the real definition of the word "different." I wanted to make my mark in this world so that when I leave this Earth, people would know the person that I was. I talked about autism in the book, but I talked about it in a way that would make everybody, not just autistic savants or people with autistic relatives or friends in their lives, feel where I was coming from. From day in and day out, everyday I would get up, get dressed, go to school or wherever I went and whatever opportunity I got, I wrote. When it came to writing the book, I was writing. In my room, on the bus to school, in class, in the car, in public places, etc. My mom never wanted me to tell anyone that I was writing the book because she believed that others would destroy my confidence in writing the book. So I never did. It would be me and my mom's secret.

Finally, it wasn't until February 28, 2013 that all my hard work and patience had finally paid off! My book went live on Amazon!

Do you see what happens when you never give up? Do you see what happens when you don't stop believing in yourself? Do you see what happens when you dream big about something? It comes true! No matter what people say, no matter what they may think, no matter how hard this world may be towards you, YOU ALWAYS NEED TO KEEP FIGHTING FOR WHAT YOU WANT! There are 3 types of people in this world:

1) People who make things happen
2) People who wait for things to happen
3) People who wonder what could've happened if I made things happen

I'm a person who makes things happen! I believed in an idea, I had the love and support of my family and I NEVER SAID DIE! My name's Jaylon O'Neal and I approve this message! Peace!
