My Cherie Amour

If you read my book, you would know that I would have a lot of these that I feel within my heart and soul to be the one for me, but they never are. But I would always be the type of person to care about the girl when they don't care for me. Love her when she doesn't love me. Give when she doesn't give to me. Appreciate her when she doesn't me or herself. You know, the good Samaritans that girls push to the side for the idiot that shows blatant disregard for the women's feelings and treats her like dirt. (Girls post...check it out)! But what I want to talk about is my ideal woman. The woman that I believe within my heart and soul makes me feel whole. The woman that makes me feel alive! The woman that makes me feel good about September 30th, 1995! She helps me truly understand! What it means to be a man! When I fall, she takes my hand. She picks me up so that I can stand! She is the one that I live for! I love my sweet Cherie Amour!

The woman that I want has to love me for me
Not for materialistic objects, jewelry or money
The one for me must stand on her own 2 feet
My divine queen shall have so much beauty

The woman that I want needs to be friendly
A lovable face and a brilliant personality
Intelligence is the key for my beauty queen
For we would be the most creative beings in the whole galaxy

The woman for me must love herself
For she is my sweet and wondrous mademoiselle
This is the woman that I would like to kiss me
And not be like those other ones that dissed me

My Cherie Amour
From her hair to her voice
From her lips to her face
To her interest in boys

I would love this girl
From day in to day out
I would show this girl
What it means to be a real spouse

Because even though I tried and tried
To find that girl that shall be mine
I would always end up being blind
To the girl that is so fine
She would play with my true feelings
That actually had so much true meaning
She would reject me on the spot
And this was a girl that was real hot
But no matter how hard I get brought down
I will always be around
Because I know since my D.O.B.
That God has a big plan for me
Because I know and I am sure
That my woman will be strong and pure
I want her to love me for rich or for poor
My beautiful and everlasting Cherie Amour

Time

You know this beautiful thing called time that we have? This periodic spectrum of life that determines how long the universe was created, how long humans have evolved and how long humans have been on this Earth? The one thing that we wish we could change at times when we create disastrous incidents based on our thoughtless actions that have no positive resolution towards them. The one thing that people often take for granted because there will come another day that will replace the day that already ran its course. Now I just want everyone that reads this to understand how immense time is. We only have so little of it left. We need to cherish the time that we have while it's good and pure. That's why everyone should spend every minute, every second meaningful and worthwhile and valuable. Do the things that you love to do every single day and enjoy doing what you're doing. Love yourself as well as life because you only have one time to enjoy the magnificent. Sure, we have hard "times" now and then, but we need to understand that nothing lasts forever. That's why we need to treat everyday like it's the last day of our lives. Now, there was a boy that I knew that treated every day that he lived as if it was the last day that he had left. He smiled every day, made it a mission to make at least one person and devoted his life to having fun every single day of his life. He was always helping someone or giving to someone or sharing his time, his materialistic objects, whatever he had in his possession to satisfy that one person or group of people. He was a true symbol of how life should be approached, how it should be attained, how each minute should be spent, how it should be shared, and more importantly, how time should be...stored.

Dancing

I've been doing this since I was 4. When I was young, my mom would always be playing music on her stereo and I just had to dance to it. I remember when I would do this spin that my mom would call the "Michael Jackson twist". Now, for some reason, when I was young, I always thought Michael Jackson was a big, large black dude. (Boy, was I wrong)! Anyway, I was always doing that spin! My mom would always say to me "Jaylon, do the Michael Jackson twist!" And I would do the spin! But I started doing more than just the twist. I was learning more dance moves at a rapid pace based on how much I loved to dance. Every cookout I was at, I was dancing. Every time my family started dancing to a song that played on her stereo, I was dancing with him. Every time a new song came out on the radio, I was doing whatever it was out there! (This was when I was young, like age 4, so I'm not contradicting myself)!
But the one thing that I remember was every time I heard the cha-cha slide, ...it was over! I would go off to the point where I ran the whole song with an iron fist! I would dance to the song, but put my own spin on the dance moves! I love every part of that song! Parts 1, 2,3, all the way to infinity! It really didn't matter as long as that one specific song came blazing out of someone's speakers! No matter where I may be!
As I got older, it just got worse! (In a good way)! When I started listening to Michael Jackson, ...you couldn't touch me! I was on a whole 'nother level when it came to dance then! I was memorized and practicing every single last dance move that MJ did! It took me weeks to figure out how he performed the moonwalk and the Smooth Criminal dance routine! I was just goin' off! And like I said previously, I was always putting my own spin on his moves! I was watching pretty much everything that he did because I wanted to move as slick and as smooth as he did! Even when he died, I played Michael Jackson: The Experience and went off on that! I felt that the way I was playing, I was working out and dancing at the same time! Every day I would always be dancing! Every move that I make would be a dance move! Whether I'm walking, turning a corner or turning around or walking backwards (moonwalking time), that's just how I move! I love the flow of how my legs communicate with music! It's just amazing! Music and legs are a beautiful couple and I prove that phrase to be 100% written in stone true! I love you all and thank you for letting me share one of my passions!

Hold up... I have a little treat for everyone! My friend, who calls himself Lyrical Blaze, has started a Facebook page all about him dancing and expressing his love of dance. Now, I wanted everyone to share in the finesse of his moves and get lost in his moves! Hope you all like it and like his Lyrical Blaze Facebook Page!

My Saturday Morning Walk

On October 5, 2013, I got up at 6:00 in the morning because I was going to do a radio interview on a local radio station for the Autism Hope Center in Columbus, GA. The walk actually took place at Hardaway High School's track field and the radio station had a tent set up right next to the field. My mom and I were there to promote the book and have a good time supporting the cause of autism. (The type of autism that I have is PDD-NOS). Anyway, when we got there, we looked around and saw all of the things that were available for people to do. There was a coloring section, a table that gave away all sorts of toys, gadgets and accessories which were all blue to symbolize autism. I thought that was neat! Then, I met this beautiful girl who was there to volunteer, so I go over there and "introduced myself." I started making her laugh and whatnot and we started talking. After we finished, she did her thing and I did mine with my mother. Before we started the walk, everyone heard the announcer talking about the statistics of autism and the history of the Autism Hope Center. When he was done, there was a woman who sang the "Star-Spangled Banner." After she finished, the walk started. We walked around four good times and I looked around and I observed all of the mothers, fathers, relatives who were there supporting their family members with autism or themselves. I also think about the love and strength that all of these people have for others with autism. (Because think about it! All of these could've gave up on their child or relative because of how hard the disorder is on the candidates). Seeing everyone there with smiles on their faces that day pretty much made my morning.
My mother thought that it would be a good idea if I volunteered at the event. Since I was looking for something to pass the time of waiting until I spoke on the radio, I looked for the volunteer sheet. I had to be redirected to different people to finally get to the volunteer sheet. Fortunately, I met a woman with the sign-up sheet and signed my name. I was given a sticker and told to see if the water tank needed help. (Oh, yes they did!) I mean, they weren't doing anything wrong. It's just how they got the water to the people. People would have to walk around the track and walk to the cooler to get a bottle of water. (And I'm thinking "What if the people are tired from walking around?") So, what I did was, I got 2 water bottles, walked around the field and asked people if they needed a bottle of ice cold water. (Of course people wanted water! We were walking around the track in the blazing heat!) Well, you know what they say! "You got to give the people what they want!" Just as I was about to make my 2nd round with 4 water bottles, my mom told me that I was about to speak on the radio.
I made my way to the radio station tent and before I spoke, a mother with a 6-year old autistic son talked about her story and how in the past, she was denied coverage to receive medical help for her autistic child by numerous medical offices. She then discussed how she talked to the CEO of her medical provider about this matter and because she did, she was able to get coverage for her child and now, coverage was available to every single family in the Columbus, GA region who suffers from autism. After she was done, I started talking. First, of course, I started talking about my book. when it was released, what it's about and where people can buy it. (On my blog!) Also, there was a flyer in front of me about returning prayer back into school and that's when I started "droppin' science." I informed everyone that was circled around the tent and the people who were listening on the radio about my feelings on prayer in school, what it would mean to have prayer and the fact that "under God" wasn't added to the Pledge of Allegiance until 1958. I started getting positive reactions from everyone that was there at the time and I received the best news of the whole day! My mom got a call from the radio station saying that they wanted me to do a 30-minute segment directed on how I can uplift teens and turn them into positive individuals of society. I thought "Are you serious?! My own show?!! That's amazing!" That was God blessing me with an opportunity that I felt extremely privileged to have and I was going to have a good experience doing it! I guess that's what happens when you don't give up hope, you don't accept defeat and you wait your turn. Good things come to those who wait and apparently, this is proof that it can happen. Just be patient and believe.
